Plew Waterfall, Chanthaburi
Plew, in Thai, means flutter, like movement of a flag in the air. In Chong language, native in the Eastern region, plew means sand or beach. Plew Waterfall is located in the Plew National Park, Chanthaburi. It is believed that the name of the waterfall was derived from a kind of plant that grows in a combination of sand and soil. Unlike any other waterfall that people will be impressed by the beauty of the water fall itself, visitors to Plew Waterfall are amazed by the amount of the dark colored Pluang fish in the clear waters. Its favorite food is plant and vegetable. If you hold a bunch of long green bean above the surface of water, you could attract thousands of Pluang fish around you.
